House Decluttering Services are different from a clearance. Nobody is emptying the house. We work through it with you, room by room, sorting what stays, what goes to a charity or a family member, and what genuinely has to be disposed of.

In practice
Hoarding support, handled patiently
Hoarding needs a different approach again, and it is work we take on regularly through Social Services and housing association referrals. The priority is the person, not the pile.
We agree what is happening before anything moves, work in short sessions if that is easier, and keep the same DBS-checked faces on the job so trust does not have to be rebuilt each visit. Where a property needs cleaning or decontamination afterwards, we can carry that out ourselves.

How decluttering differs from a clearance, and how we approach hoarding.
A clearance empties a property. Decluttering keeps it lived in. We work through the house with you deciding what stays, what goes to family or charity and what is disposed of, and nothing leaves without your say so.
A single room can be a few hours. A whole house done properly, at a pace that is comfortable, is usually spread over several visits. We do not push, and we do not charge for the time you need to think.
Yes, and it is work we take on regularly through Social Services and housing association referrals. The approach is patient, the same team comes back each time, and we agree what is happening before anything moves.
Usable items are donated or passed on wherever we can, which most people prefer to the idea of everything being tipped. What cannot be reused is recycled or disposed of under our own waste carrier licence.
We can. Rooms that have been full for a long time usually need more than a hoover once they are clear, and our own cleaning team can pick that up in the same booking.
